The Social Orientation and Community Involvement Office (SOCIO) of the La Fiesta Site successfully conducted a Donation Drive and Turnover for the ATI Community last March 23, 2026, at Brgy. Poblacion 1, Tigbauan, Iloilo. The activity embodied the true spirit of Bayanihan, bringing together administrators, faculty, students, and community partners in a unified effort to extend support to our indigenous brothers and sisters.
Guided by the leadership and support of Dean Seanna Mae Detoyato, MHM, the initiative highlighted the institution’s strong commitment to community engagement and service. A key highlight of the activity was the presence of Dr. Ma. Teresa S. Sarabia, President of STMTCC, who graced the turnover of donations together with the Barangay Officials of Poblacion 1 and the Chieftain of the ATI Community, strengthening collaboration between the institution and the local community.
The success of the donation drive was largely driven by the remarkable efforts of the 4th year students, who spearheaded the fundraising and collection of donations. Their initiative, teamwork, and dedication to service were instrumental in mobilizing resources and ensuring the success of the activity. Their leadership reflects the institution’s goal of developing socially responsible and community-oriented individuals.
Through the collective generosity of all stakeholders, essential goods were distributed, bringing comfort and meaningful support to families within the ATI Community.
