Empowering Education: St. Therese-MTC College High School students delve into Adolescent Health and Reproductive Education”
In a recent initiative aimed at fostering holistic learning, students from St. Therese-MTC College High School eagerly participated in two informative seminars centered around adolescent health and reproductive education. Titled “Adolescent Health Issues and Perspective (AHIP)” and “Preparatory Reproductive Health Education Priming Youth Adults for Responsible Engagement (PREPARE),” these impactful sessions were held on April 23, 2024.
The seminars were made possible through a collaborative effort between the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Inc (POGS) Panay Chapter and the Zonta Club of Metro Iloilo. This partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to empower youth with crucial knowledge and perspectives on health and responsible engagement.
By engaging in these seminars, students not only expanded their understanding of adolescent health but also gained valuable insights into reproductive education, equipping them with essential skills for informed decision-making and responsible adulthood. Such initiatives reflect St. Therese-MTC College’s dedication to holistic education and the empowerment of future generations.
