Poseidon Asia Inc., in collaboration with Poseidon Simulation As, successfully hosted the Poseidon User’s Conference last November 18, 2025 at the 72nd Events Center, Han Lu 7 Centre, Felix Avenue, Pasig City. The event brought together maritime institutions, partners, and industry leaders for a full-day program focused on advancing maritime education through cutting-edge simulation technology.
With the theme “Partners in the Journey: Elevating Maritime Education through Simulation,” the conference showcased the latest developments in Poseidon’s simulation solutions and provided a platform for users to share experiences, best practices, and insights.
In his message to the participants, Norwegian Ambassador Christian Halaas Lyster cited the strong bilateral relationship between the Philippines and Norway, with the maritime sector at the core of their partnership.

“Many maritime companies have been in the Philippines for decades. Poseidon is one example of companies supporting the maritime sector in the Philippines and globally,” the Ambassador said. “By providing world-class competence through state-of-the-art simulators, Poseidon plays an important part in developing the maritime industry of the Philippines,” he reminded the participants.
For her part, Ms. Ragnhild Pedersen, CEO of Poseidon Simulation AS, expressed appreciation for Poseidon Asia’s “exemplary leadership, innovation, and dedication in promoting world-class simulation solutions that enhance the competence and readiness of maritime professionals.”

During the daylong conference, attendees engaged in discussions on emerging trends, innovative training methodologies, and the future direction of simulation-based maritime instruction.
