In a dedicated effort to promote environmental conservation and celebrate World Water Day, the Social Orientation and Community Involvement Office of St. Therese-MTC College orchestrated a meaningful initiative: the First Quarter Adopt-an-Estero Water Body Program Clean-Up.
Led by the college’s SEC Officers, this impactful clean-up campaign spanned from Esplanade 3 to the Garden of Love and Jalandoni Bridge, encompassing key water bodies in the area. The event not only highlighted the importance of preserving our water ecosystems but also demonstrated the college’s commitment to fostering responsible citizenship and environmental stewardship among its students and staff.
As part of this program, participants engaged in hands-on activities to remove litter and debris, contributing to the restoration and maintenance of these vital water resources. Their dedication and passion for environmental advocacy were truly commendable, embodying the spirit of community engagement and collective responsibility.
This collaborative effort not only made a tangible impact on the local environment but also served as a powerful reminder of the crucial role each individual plays in safeguarding our natural heritage for future generations.
